Police have affirmed a body was found on Sunday evening in a lush territory close Newtown Road.

A representative for West Mercia Police stated: "At around 5.20pm yesterday (May 3) we were called to a lush region close Newtown Road, Worcester.

"Tragically a man, accepted to be a 23-year-old nearby man, was discovered expired. His closest relative and the coroner have been educated. His demise isn't being treated as dubious."

Witnesses announced seeing nine squad cars left close to a field in Wood Green Drive.
