Police examine robbery at a Worcester comfort store

POLICE are engaging for data following a theft at a Worcester shop.

Police say cigarettes were taken from the Tesco Express on Brindley Road last Tuesday.

A representative for West Mercia Police stated: "Guilty parties picked up passage to a business premises on Brindley Road, Warndon between 11.15pm on Monday 27 April and 5.15am on Tuesday 28 April.

"An amount of cigarettes was taken, enquires are continuous.

"In the event that anybody has data in regards to this episode please contact police with reference 46s 280420."

Police and a criminology van were seen outside the shop in Warndon Villages a week ago. Tesco Express was shut for the day while the police researched the theft.
